Fun Friday Four

Fun Friday Four #11!!!

Hello!! I hope you are all doing well and are safe!! I would like to apologise for not posting yesterday’s ‘thursday theatre’…… I didn’t have time to record…. and I didn’t know what song to sing….. song suggestions please? Anyways, Here goes another fun friday four!!

Featured film!!

Stuart Little 1 & 2

I think majority of you know who is ‘Stuart Little’!! Well, if you don’t, you should know that he is a mouse!! Who is adopted by the ‘Little’ (last name) family. So these two movies are about him!! It all started from a wonderful book called ‘Stuart Little’ (I mean obviously right XD) by E. B. White!! To make things even more fun, both movies are real life (meaning not cartoon lol) and the actors are amazing!! The little brother, George, is so cute!

Stuart Little 1

So here is a little review and summary of the whole movie. This movie is mostly about him trying to fit in the family and make friends with the house pet cat, Snowbell. Snowbell’s friends (cats obviously) tease him a lot that ‘a mouse has a pet cat’. Then Snowbell decides to help his friends in kidnapping Stuart… and then eating him. But of course that won’t happen!! Otherwise why would there be Stuart Little ‘2’?

Stuart Little 2

So basically, in this movie, he makes friends with a pretty bird named ‘Margalo’. They fall in love (wait what?! A mouse and a bird?! Never mind.) But Margalo is actually a thief belonging to the evil Falcon. Now what should Margalo do? Betray her friend? Or get killed by Falcon? Unfortunately , she chooses betraying him. But Stuart won’t give up. He sets out with his trusty friend, Snowbell (yes, the same cat who wanted to kill him lol)

Featured fiction!!

Pollyanna by Eleanor H. Porter

This is an amazing book!! But for today, I decided to let my younger sister, Gelina (I hope you have followed her blog), write the review since she just read the book herself!! Let’s hear her opinion!!

I loved reading ‘Pollyanna’ because it was so exciting and fun filled!! She has a game called the “Just be Glad” game. You have to find something in everything to be glad about. When her father dies, she goes to live with strict Aunt Polly. Pollyanna teaches the “game” to the whole and even Aunt Polly starts being glad!! Well, that’s just about everything! I hope you enjoy the book!!

~ Gelina

Thank you so much Gelina for sharing!! I think you wrote it wonderfully!!

You already probably know the routine!!

Ben Hur (1959)

This is an amazing movie!! But one warning, I would rate this for 12+ because it can be a bit hard to understand and because of a few disgusting bloody scenes. Some people might be fine with this, but those who can’t stand blood, careful!!

Anyways, it’s a long movie (4 hours hehe) about a prince named Ben Hur who was tortured and punished for 4 years because he took the blame for an accident his sister did. He had to become a slave rower in the Roman galleys (war ships). One day, during a battle, their ship got rammed… and it started sinking. And guess what, he saved the life of the Roman commander, even though he hated him.

Soon they became very close, and the Roman commander, who was a very powerful ruler, adopted Ben hur as a son and heir. Now Ben Hur was living the life of prince again! But he needed to find out where was his mother and sister? He set off…. And after joining a horse race, killing his childhood bestfriend, he discovered that his mother and sister were lepers (if you have never heard of leprosy, look it up!! I am thankful that that disease isn’t around anymore). They looked like living corpses. They would surely die soon. His whole world was falling apart… who could possibly help?

I have three announcements!!

Firstly, I am happy to say that our beloved blogger and friend, Shanessa, is back again!!

Secondly, I would really appreciate some song suggestions for me to play on the piano or sing for the ‘thursday theatre’!!

Thirdly, guest posting is still open!! You can submit a post about ANYTHING. You can submit it to!! The deadline is Oct 31!! I am eagerly waiting!!

That was all for today!! Have a pleasant weekend!! Toodles!!

Featured fiction!!

Camille and Madeleine by Countess de Ségur (translated by Stephanie Smee)

This is one of my fav… since I was 6 or 7. It was originally written in French, but is also available in English!! It’ not very popular, so I wanna share it with you!! It is a thrilling story about two sisters and their friends’ adventures….

Camille and Madeleine are two perfect girls living with their mother at Château Fleurville. One day, they witness an accident, and rush to the spot to find a little girl along with her unconcious badly wounded mother. The little girl, Marguerite, ends up staying, and becoming almost part of the family.

When Sophie comes to stay, she tries to behave as well as her friends. But being a perfect little girl prooves more difficult than she imagined….

As usual!! A movie recommendation at the end!

Facing the Giants (2006)

This is such an amazing movie guys!! It tells the story of an unmotivated football (American) team, who has given up ever winning a tournament. But the coach pushes them hard, and creates a bible group. They start playing with new strength, not for themselves, but for the Lord!! They start winning…. but then they have to face the team GIANTS. The undisputed champion for years. And then they—– ok I ain’t telling!!

Guest Post, Sunday Sharing

Sunday Sharing Guest post!!!

Hey y’all!! Whassup? What is wrong with me

Anyways today we have splendiferous guest post from the magnificentest blogger and friend, D (Introverted thoughts)!!!

Are you ready? I’m so excited to show it to you guys!! I fell in love with it!!

I would just like to mention how she explained it:

This poem is titled Fear and it is about how fear weakens a person and all it requires is a strong will to believe in ourselves.

A rainy day was it
When he decided to pay a visit.
He brought with him
An army of
Past mistakes and painful failures.
Their words and deeds
Pierced her core,
Poisoning her dreams and
Weakening her faith.
Like the earth that welcomed the rain,
She welcomed his presence
And embraced his guests.
A nasty day was it,
When she opened her mind
To fear.
All it would take was
A strong will
To keep that door barred
Forever more.

Did you like it? Or love it? Tell me and D in the comments!!

Remember, guest posting is open!! You can submit a post about ANYTHING. You can submit it to!! The deadline is Oct 31!! I am eagerly waiting!!

That’s all for today’s post!! I hope you have a pleasant sunday and a great new week ahead!! Toodles!!

Fun Friday Four

Fun Friday Four #9!!

Hello!! I hope you are having a grest week!! Let’s start with our ‘Fun Friday Four’!!

Featured film!!

A Dog’s Purpose (2017)

This is such a beautiful movie for all dog lovers!! 🐾🐾❤❤❤🐶🐶🐕🐕🐩🐩 It’s the story of a dog, who, after he dies, lives as a new dog. So you can experiance his adventure with all his different owners. Everytime he died, I cried🤣🤣But he always became a new dog with a fun story!! There is even more… but you gotta watch it for yourself guys!!

Featured fiction!!

Around the world in eighty days by Jules Verne

I’m sure most of you have read this, or at least heard of it!! I tried reading it once when I was around 8 years, but I just couldn’t understand what was going on!! So, after a few years, I saw the book lying on my bookshelf and I was like, ‘what’s this?! Hmmm… I guess I’ll try reading it!’

And I did. And I LOVED it!! As you probably know, it’s about a really punctual calm strict gentleman (somehow I always imagine him kind of like Abraham Lincoln 😂) who travels the world in 80 days. With his loyal (and funny) assistant/friend/sidekick, Passepartout. To make the story even more interesting, a large bank robbery had just taken place. So, Mr. Fix (a detective) follows them around the world too.

They also meet a beautiful Indian woman named Aouda.

What happens?

Some verses and a movie for you!!

This is an awesome movie!! Even though it’s about a married couple who want to divorce, it’s really fun to watch because of all the funny scenes and great acting!!

Anyways, It’s an amazing movie!! Watch it now!!

That’s all for today’s post guys!! What about the Featured Friendz? I’m sorry but it’s late and the internet is on and off, so I don’t have much time… 😔

Have a great weekend!! Toodles!!

Guest Post, Sunday Sharing

Sunday Sharing- A fantastic guest post!!

Hello!! Happy sunday!! I hope you all had a great week!! Today, for ‘Sunday sharing’, I bring you a beautiful guest post written by our dear friend…. Maggie!! If you haven’t followed her, please do!! Amazing blog and an amazing friendly and kind blogger!!

3 Tips For When You’re Entering A New Season of Your Life

Hi guys! It’s Maggie from Chickadee Lover Maggie! Thanks so much to Amy for allowing me to guest post on her blog! I’m really excited about this opportunity to share what I’ve written with you today. 😊

So for a bit of time now, I’ve been transitioning into a different season of my life! I love that it’s happening at the same time we’re entering fall here in the United States – that makes it even more special. 😂🧡

I thought I’d talk about that today to connect with anyone else who’s also going through changes in their life, because it’s exciting and new and unknown! I’m pretty sure we always benefit from knowing others are experiencing something similar to what we’re also facing, especially when it’s challenging and something that takes time. 😊❤️

Here are some things I’ve learned as I have been entering this new season of my own life!

1. Some things change of their own accord around you, and some things you get to change yourself. Learning about and accepting which kind of change it is takes time, but it’s totally worth it! I love that I’m noticing the positive differences that are in my life that I don’t have any part in, as well as the things I’m part of making new myself.

2. Let go of the old so you can grasp and fall in love with the new. I’ve been donating, rearranging, working through, and changing my surroundings, various aspects of hobbies, and how I approach my day so that everything reflects who I am today and what my mission is. That mission is to grow alongside my family, heal, and contribute to the journey we’re traveling together. 💖

3. Time is your absolute best friend. There have been moments when I wished I could fast-forward into the future and skip the transition part 😂 but there would be no growth or learning in that! While I’d love to already arrive at this mental destination I have in my head (which I picture as being a point in the near future where I’ve already finished making all of the changes and adjustments I’m working on today), I’m also finding immense pleasure and joy in the journey. Don’t allow the destination to hinder your focus on the time it takes to get there. ❤️ Live in today, learn from yesterday, and be excited about tomorrow!

Thank you so much for reading this short and sweet post! I can’t express just how wonderful it feels to be in this changing of seasons point in my life and my family’s life as a whole. Every day, I’m excited about each little thing I’m experiencing today, and also anticipating what will be tomorrow. I’m growing as a person – the daughter, big sister, and blogger friend that I am. I’m really enjoying it and I would encourage you to love your life as it shifts and changes around you, too! Whether you can 100% relate to the big changes I’ve touched on in this post, or you’re just noticing small changes here and there in your life right now, the human experience is an ever-shifting journey. We’re here to learn, grow, love others, and enjoy the ride! I hope you have a beautiful day! 💜

This was a fantastic post Maggie!! Thank you so much for submitting it!!

Be sure to check out Hailey’s blog!! She posts beautiful quotes and memes every sunday!!

I am opening up guest posting again!! You can submit a post about ANYTHING. You can submit it to!! The deadline is Oct 31!! I am eagerly waiting!!

That’s all for today’s post!! Thank you for reading and have a great week ahead!! Toodles!!

Fun Friday Four!!!!

Hello and welcome back to another Fun Friday Four!! No explaination needed, let’s get started!!

Featured film!!

Little women (2019)

This is one of my fav movie!! There are so many versions, the 1994 version is also beautiful!! But I really love this movie because the story is told in flashbacks. But this might be kinda confusing. So I advice you to read the book or watch another version before you watch this!!

the trailer of the 1994 version

In the movie, Jo March witnesses her eldest sister’s marriage, her youngest sister going to study in Paris, and her friendship with a guy she actually likes, broken by her temper. She is left alone. She writes stories, but gives up because the newspaper and publishers refuse her hard work. To make things worse, her younger sister, who always encouraged Jo to continue writing, dies. In this bitter world, how will she make it through?

Featured fiction!!

Journey to the river sea by Eva Ibbotson

This is a less well known but beautiful story of an orphan named Maia. Her parents were rich, so she had a normal life, living in a girl’s boarding school. But one day, some distant relatives agree to take care of her. What Maia nor her lawyer/guardian knew was that they just wanted the money that came along. And guess where they lived? In the Amazon. But Maia can’t wait to start the long sea voyage. And you can’t, in your wildest dreams, imagine the adventures that await her on the shores of the river sea.

Of course, some verses and a movie recommendation!!

For Maggie!! 😉☝🏻☝🏻

Mom’s Night Out

Ahhh!! This is a very hilarious and maybe relatable movie!! Perfect to watch as a family or just by yourself!! It’s not necessarily a christian movie, anyone would enjoy it!! It’s about 3 moms who are very tired, so they decide to have a night out together. They leave the dads to handle the kids, and you probably know what’s gonna happen!! CATASTROPHE!!!! I’m sure you’ll love it!!
